Only 150 km away of Darwin there is a beautful spot named Dundee Beach. It‘s another amazing and impressiv place on our planet. The beach has white sand, black stones and small red cliffs a lot of palms and the beautyful blue Timoresea. This real nice beach is the habitat of saltwater crocodiles. So swimming at Dundee Beach is not permitted. There are lots of river mouths and that‘s why salties are happy to life here. On the other side it‘s a perfect place to go for fishining. Every day lots of people come for fishing at Dundee Beach and according to that, there are daily lots of boats comming in with impressiv catches.
A little further towards Darwin is the Crab Claw Island with the its resort. Also this place is seams to be out of a picture book, simply beautiful and really idyllic, but even here bathing in the sea is not possible. It is also a salty area. Basically the whole north of Australia is home to saltwater crocodiles and therefore bathing is hardly possible in the sea. But excursions by boat, at the beach and in the national parks are perfectly possible 🙂
