We leave the fascinating Painted Desert of Arckaringia behind us. To get to Coober Pedy we chose the gravel road from Arckaringia Station to Cadney Homestead. This way is a little bit longer but for that you may see an amazing scenery. This way has wonderful landscape, nice hills, a lot of green and such coloured. This road is a must to been driven and seen. We could take real nice pictures of this drive as you may seen with the link below.
Cadney Homestead is it really worth to take a break. This Roadhouse is such perfectly looked after and has such friendly people and a very kind service.
Now the next stop is the “Opal Capital of the World” – Coober Pedy.
