Our next destination to visit is the Painted Desert, Arckaringa Homestead, at the Outback. A magical place, the landscape and the hills do not look like this the rest of this world. It’s look like we are on an other planet. The journey to the Painted Desert is on a 4WD road and we enjoy it. The scenery that surrounds us is magnificent, there you find on one side absoluty nothing up to green country and bush land. Simply fascinating.
Arckaringa Station is cattle farm, which is run by Paul and Katy with their nice two kids. At Arckaringa Station you find a campground with only unpowered sites and with powered cabins (including clima).
The Station has an total area of 2745 square kilometres and run up to 2100 head of cattle. Who wants to know more about the Arckinga Station and the Painted Desert may find informations just here.
At the campground there are 4 Australian Men how also makes an Outback tour by their own. Peter, Peter, Paul and Dig (Richard) are such good, friendly and funny guys and we share some hours in their genial accompainment. Just awesome people in the middle of nowhere where we enjoy and share a great afternoon with 🙂
At sunrise and sunset we are out there at the Painted Desert. Simply fabulous and enchanting this lovely place in the Outback.
