The famous Oodnadatta track is such nice to be driven, we can’t do it without it. At Marree we start up direction to Oodnadatta. On this nice and relatively short trip, we go for a stop at Lyndhurst. This point is the important point and cross way of the gravel roads (unseald roads are called like this) or better known as tracks – the Oodnadatta and Birdsville track comes here together.
Next Roadhouse on the way is William Creek with 1 permanent resident.
The heat stays similar to the last days and so it goes forward to Oodnadatta. During the journey there may be enjoyed the beautyful landscape of the outback as the real far view, you may see hills in a distanceover of 100 – 150 km it’s such fascianating.
At Oodnadatta is less to find then 4 years ago, when we first time were here. The Hotel has closed long ago and the Pink Roadhouse caravan park has had its best days. That’s seams to be absolutly normal to see things come and go here.
